A walk in the woods yields a partly decayed walnut limb, and with two hemispherical, suggestive burls. A grinding of the lower body for a "termite-ectomy" and a bit of shaping to give a muscular back and here it is, with a perched Sigmund parrot. 39" tall, 16" wide, 12" deep. NFS
