Cut from the trunk of an ancient oak 19' in circumference this disk was shaped to make the rim entirely from the quilted wood beneath the bark. The rim and bowl are 5" wide/thick, polished on the back and inside of the bowl and bleached on the rim with hydrogen peroxide for contrast, 28" diameter x 6" tall. This tree was more than 200 years old. About 40 pounds. SOLD
