"Brown oak", End grain orientation created with the pith seen in the center of the bowl bottom. Reaction wood "wrinkled" as it dried giving the bowl a pleasing rippled texture. 12" x 7". Finished with Scotch Gard so as to not alter the contrast between light and dark woods. Functional salad bowl.
