Oak side grain bowl turned to ~1/8" thick while freshly cut and then allowed to wrinkle as it dried. Central pith stands proud on each side while reaction wood suggests an "old face". 9" diameter x 12" tall x ~1/8" thick; burnished with vinegar and steelwool to give a tannic acid patina. One coat of thin tung oil. SOLD
